This all-new premium freestyle snowboard is built for the more advanced to expert snowboarder, transitions, on hips, and on medium to large terrain park features.
K2 leaned on the trusty tri-blend BAP core as the foundation for the Hypnotist. They've added our Carbon DarkWeb™ to speed up transitions from edge to edge, and the new tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone™ to increase snap.
To help you spin that extra 180 degrees, reduce swingweight, and decrease chatter in the tip and tail, we’ve replaced the tip and tail of the core with our SpaceGlass™ construction, lighter and harder than wood, SpaceGlass™ puts the Hypnotist in a league all of it’s own. We finish it all off with a wax-infused 4001 Sintered Base from Crown - the hardest, fastest, base material that they offer.

An American made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at reduced weight. SpaceGlassTM inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability.
Carbon stringers extend at 45º angles from the inserts in an “X” pattern, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds.
A pre-cambered carbon inlay centered between the inserts specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff.
